Supercapacitor film
The GTSA film can be functionalized for energy storage. Supercapacitors are used in applications requiring rapid power input. They can also store large quantities of energy instantaneously, enabling the storage system to be recharged when a vehicle is braked, for example.
Composition:
The film consists of supercapacitors, which are energy storage cells printed onto a polymer substrate. These cells include silver, graphene and activated carbon electrodes, as well as an ion-exchange membrane and electrolyte.
Assembly:
The cells are connected in series and in parallel to meet the desired electrical characteristics.
Performance :
Supercapacitors offer high performance, particularly during charge and discharge cycles.
Footprint:
More compact than existing solutions.
Applications :
They are used in soft mobility to dispense with batteries and charging constraints. What's more, they enable much faster charging of small, everyday electrical equipment.
